BACK TO BUSINESS - OUTFIT INSPO
Ahh it feels so good to be wearing "nice" clothes again!
Whether it's right or not, I do believe that how you look plays a role in your success, and how you are perceived in the workplace, so I think it's important to dress appropriately. For me, I need to feel professional and like I'm at work, not at home/ shopping/ going for a coffee with my mum. You will very rarely see me in jeans in the office, apart from on a Friday… and it is highly unlikely I would ever wear trainers.
I stick to my own personal style rules, to name a few - low cut tops are a no no, and short skirts are strictly for the weekend (if at all!) Shorts are for the beach, not the office. I can't stand going to work with bad nail varnish, I attend a lot of meetings, that means lots of hand shaking - nice nails are a must.
I keep my colour palette neutral, same as the rest of my wardrobe! I wear minimal jewellery… drop earrings mean no necklace etc.
After a year out, plus a few months in comfy/ maternity clothes, I felt like I needed a bit of a wardrobe/ style over haul. I had a bit of a clear out and took advantage of some of the summer sales to give myself the refresh that I needed.
Cue a new pinterest board full of lots of lovely inspiration for this season, some which I thought I would share with you.
