SNEAKER ADDICT

Updated: Aug 10, 2018

Rewind a couple of years and you wouldn't have caught me dead in a pair of trainers… unless I was at the gym. I was a dedicated heels wearer, and was of the opinion that active wear belonged, well, somewhere active-ey (?)

Fast forward to Christmas 2016, when, nestled under the Christmas tree (instead of the normal pair of heels from the husband!) were my very first pair of grown up, none-gym-going trainers.

I am a firm believer that you can NEVER have too many pairs of shoes. Fact. And since that first pair of sneakers, my love began, and my collection has grown and grown! Since having Frank, the heels have definitely taken a back seat and I am all for comfort and ease, but I still want to look good. Cue a spending craze on all things trainer.

Now we are heading for Spring, it's time to update the collection with a couple of new additions, so here's what's on my radar.

These pale pink vans. I think I might be a bit late to the game with the old skool vans, but better late than never eh?

These leather Gazelles. Again, I think the cool kids have already had Gazelles for AGES... but I like the leather versions as a little something different to the suede ones that everyone already has.

These Nike Internationalist trainers in a simple white colourway. I already have the pale pink/ dark grey ones and they are one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I have ever worn in my life!

I don't believe the sneaker trend is going anywhere soon, so if it is something you are thinking of embracing, here is lots of inspiration on how to style your trainers as we transition into spring!

So are you going to be embracing sneakers in 2018?
